Dear Colleagues,
I hope you are all having a good summer. If you are going on vacation, don’t worry, about checking your email to get the latest news . . . as all issues of the blog are archived at CMRG.com. I want to use this email to bring you up to date on some exciting news updates:
- The summer 2006 issue of Case In Point has just arrived in mailboxes across the country. If you have not done so yet, please take a few moments to review the magazine and send me your feedback on what you liked and what you want to see in future issues. To ‘pay you for the time’, as noted on page 4 in the Letter from the Editor, for sending me your insights or story ideas, you will be entered into a quarterly drawing to win all six volumes of the newest piece that Dorland Healthcare Information has to offer, Dorland’s Healthcare Website Guide!
- The Website Guides are the latest products designed for healthcare professionals to have quick access to evidence based sites (per disease state) to aid in their management of complex patients. The website guides are also appropriate to pass onto patients to guide them to reliable healthcare information they can use to meet their specific needs. The first drawing will be held on September 30.
- In our recent editorial meeting, it was decided based on YOUR recommendations to post Case In Point magazine online. In doing this, readers will be able to read past issues of the magazine online in addition to receiving your print copy. The IT department is working on making this happen, and as soon as it is live, I will let you know.
- Many readers have asked how they can get a copy of Case In Point. The best way to ensure you are receiving all of the products and updates from Dorland Health Information is to make sure you are registered at myCMRG. If you have moved, changed jobs or are registering for the first time, go to go to www.myCMRG.com and complete the short registration process and you will be ensured you are connected. Not only will you begin receiving the ‘must read’ journal of the Medical Management industry, Case In Point, but you will also be tuned into an incredible resource to better manage your patients.
- This week’s Question of the Week asks you to share what is on your summer reading schedule. Whether you are taking a vacation to the Jersey shore, going to the mountains, or just taking a few hours to relax in your back yard, let me know what you’re reading. I will compile all replies and share the best summer reads! I hope to get a good list and go to Borders!
