Recognizing our peers for excellence is just one more part of our professional development. Each year, the Case Management Society of America, the organization for professionals engaged in the practice of case management, offers two prestigious national awards — the National Case Manager of the Year (CMOY) award and the National Award of Service Excellence (AOSE). The awards are open to members of the organization whose case management careers elevate professional standards, enhance individual and leadership performance, and exemplify merit and distinction.
Do you know someone whom you would like to recommend? If so, now is the time to make nominations to recognize that special CMSA member for his or her positive impact on the practice of case management. Nominating a peer whom you respect and admire for his or her leadership, ability to mentor others, and knowledge of the case management process is one way we as professionals can show those who go the extra mile that we appreciate their efforts. To learn more about the awards and their requirements, go to www.cmsa.org. The deadline for nominations is February 14, 2007.
Have a good week!
