Focusing on abilities vs. disabilities
I received this six-minute video from a colleague. It illustrates the importance of looking at our own as well as our patients’ abilities and disabilities. The video is of Oriental precision dancers who do the dance of one. In this video, there are 21 dancers and all are deaf. The dancers are called the China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troup. Click here to watch this video. I think you will agree they are far from disabled. It is amazing!
