Hope you are all enjoying these ‘lazy’ days of summer. It won’t be long before fall is here, the kids are back to school and we all start preparing for the holidays. In News You Can Use this week, I have selected a variety of stories that may be of interest to you, both professionally and personally. I hope you have taken some time to go online and review the new pages that have been posted. They include the Case Management Writing Contest, Out & About and the Case Management Bookstore. These sites share best practices, educational events, and resources to improve your practice. If you have time to view them, let me know your thoughts and whether you have recommendation for additional resources that you would like to see.

Coming soon will be the first in an ongoing series of Leadership Interviews. I have identified key leaders who have made an impact on the practice. Also, we will be rolling out a new page entitled Video & Visuals, on which you will find short videos that provide another way for you to learn current information pertinent to our industry. In addition, we will be adding continuing education (CE) programs to our website for your learning pleasure.

As you relax at the beach, pool, or lake over the next few weeks, take some time to think about what you would like to see on these sites. What do you want to learn about that you are not finding in your organization, local or national conferences? What is an outstanding issue that you would like explored in more detail?
