What to get for your office Secret Santa for under $20? Here are some ideas.

Funky office stuff

Put a little play into work with fun office stuff that can be found at Patina stores online.

Record a merry mix

So many people have digital music players that they listen to on their daily commutes on trains, planes and automobiles (well, maybe not automobiles). So, make a mix CD of your favorite tunes. People love to be introduced to new music or reminded of the songs from the past year. Think of it as an end-of-year music montage. (If you aren’t sure how to do this, consult any 15-year-old.)

The gift card

The important thing to remember for an office Secret Santa is to personalize your gift while still making it appropriate for the office setting. If you know your recipient well, you can personalize it by getting a gift card at the person’s favorite coffee or bagel shop.

Desktop calendars

If you don’t know your recipient well, a desktop calendar is a good idea. Wide varieties that are fun yet inexpensive gifts provide a full 365 days of enjoyment.

Shopping online tips

Next year, try shopping online. But before you do, read this article that was in USA Today a few weeks ago. Also included are some of the best sites where you can find the perfect gift! Click here for the crucial tips.
