A few weeks ago, I received a link to a very thoughtful video. The video shares a simple message about customer service and the human connection that I think we all can learn from. That simple message is that “service comes from the heart.” What I came away with was that it does not matter what your role is in an organization, we can all make a difference.
The video tells the story of Johnny, a bagger at a local supermarket. Due to sagging sales, Johnny’s employer hired a consultant to educate the employees about customer service. A few weeks after the training, the consultant receives a call from Johnny, who wants to share his idea on how to make his customers feel special.
